Taiwan Trip Day 5 to Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village

Our next stop was a tour around Nantou village, they are the one who is in charge of  the sun and moon lake attraction. They depend on tourist visiting their village the sun and moon lake to make a living and also on fishing. The village population is just 200 people, which consider very little.

As the government is very scare of decreasing population in the village or migration to another state of Taiwan, thus the government built Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village, an attraction place for tourist to learn the culture heritage of Taiwan's 9 hill tribes, houses, living style and song - dance performance. Also, there have some rides for the kids and adult too.

Spot my tour guide wearing dark blue polo shirt. He is paying for our admission ticket.

My sister huge hat blocking the my view

When we entered in, I was surprised why are there so many one-piece poster around. I was thinking there's even a theme for this mini amusement park? :D

These one-piece character straight away remind me of my BF. He's a fan of one-piece HAHA

Trying to copy the main character pose HAHA

awwww all these characters are ardorable

The map of the whole Culture Village plus mini amusement park. After looking at the map, I realise yes this whole village and mini amusement park have a theme and it is one- piece but what was the link here? why out of so many character they chose one-piece?

Then after thinking for quite sometime I realise because the whole village depend on fishing and tourist visiting the sun and moon lake to earn an living.  That's is the reason why they use one-piece as their theme because of fishing and sea. Clever idea, istead of those common amusement park where they use cartoon character.

Took a cable car to another place to watch a performance where they will introduced Taiwan's 9 hill tribes

The overall look of the mini amusement park :D

We have reach the village performance place :)

The introduction of Taiwan's 9 tribes

The performance was really awesome. The speaker speak in Chinese and also did a translation of English too (Y)

 Huge fat owl :D

The background is so pretty but mummy is lousy with using a phone to take photo so the picture always turn out blur :(

The huge one-piece pirate ship :O

I want to try this ride! it seems so fun but I hate to get wet...

 'Splash'

And when your boat reach here there will have a huge canon sound and it goes 'boom' water start splashing again haha. oh so fun~

Mummy is such a scaredy cat. I told her to try with me some of the rides but she told me she was scare :( So  in the end our first ride was an underground Jurassic park tour

Forcefully drag mummy to ride with me on a merry go round :D can't believe my mummy is even afraid of a merry go round haha. I wonder when I'm old will I be such a scaredy cat like mummy haha.

Time to hop onto the horse :)

Last ride of the day, the hot air balloon ride. It was such a pity that we only had 3 hours to walk around the place. I still have so many places I wanted to go :(
I totally forget about the park outside the entrance :( It's magnificent, it has the USS feel

Wish I had more time so I could rain on this train to tour around the place :(
